Cheadle is a suburban town in the Metropolitan Borough of Stockport, in Greater Manchester, England. It is located approximately 5 miles southeast of Manchester city centre and lies on the Cheshire Plain. Cheadle is bordered by the towns of Cheadle Hulme, Heald Green, and Gatley. It has a population of around 14,000 people and is home to a variety of shops, restaurants, pubs, and other local amenities. Notable landmarks in the area include Cheadle College, Abney Hall Park, and St. Mary's Church.
