Bingley is a market town in the metropolitan borough of Bradford, in West Yorkshire, England. It is located about 8 miles northwest of Bradford city center and 10 miles west of Leeds city center. Bingley has a population of approximately 20,000 people and is situated on the banks of the River Aire. The town is known for its historic architecture, including Bingley Five Rise Locks, which is a staircase of five canal locks on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, and St. Ives Estate, a public park with a mansion house and gardens. Bingley also has a range of shops, restaurants, and pubs, as well as excellent transport links, including a train station that connects the town to Leeds, Bradford, and other nearby cities.
