About
Aubergine was established in 2005 by Dorothy and Nicola a mother and daughter team from Wigan. Over the years Aubergine has earned a stunning reputation for superb personal service, high-quality and extensive ranges for mother of the bride, mother of the groom and wedding guests.
Occasion Wear
Whether you’re the mother of the bride, mother of the groom or a guest, Aubergine has a beautiful selection of outfits from some of the most established and well respected occasion wear brands and because we only stock occasion wear we are able to offer a large variety and choice.
Evening Wear
Whether you’re going to the ball, a party or on a cruise we offer dresses with chic elegance that remains timeless through every season. From the full length WOW dress to make an entrance in, to the faithful little black dress that comes out every year.
Personal Service
If you need our help our experienced sales advisers will serve you on a one to one basis and give you as much advice as possible to help you choose your perfect outfit. It doesn’t matter if it takes 1 hour or 3, what’s important is that you’re happy and feel fabulous! We will always be honest with you and if an outfit doesn’t suit we will say so. As far as we are concerned our ladies are a reflection of us on their big day so we want everyone to be wowed by you for all the RIGHT reasons!!!
In-Store Alterations
Once you’ve found ‘the one’ we offer an alteration service to ensure your outfit fits you perfectly. Our seamstress Anne has over 40 years experience, 25 of those years altering bridal wear, so your outfit is in safe hands. Her prices are also very reasonable.
Accessories
We have a large stock of hats and fascinators to complement our outfits, many of which are specifically designed to match. We also have a selection of occasion shoes and handbags therefore enabling you to buy everything you need under one roof!
