About
Chiropody Chorley - Welcome
I am a member of the Health Professions Council and the Institute of Chiropodists and Podiatrists and as such I abide by strict Regulations and Codes of Ethics and Conduct laid down by these governing bodies.
Prior to becoming a Chiropodist I practiced as a State Registered Nurse for over twenty years.
Since qualifying as a Chiropodist I have continued my Professional Development.
I have increased my scope of practice to include Cryotherapy (used in the treatment of verrucas) and Nail Surgery. I am qualified to administer Local Anaesthetic and perform surgery on the nail area. Local anaesthetic may also be preferred by patients for other treatments.
